A New Project On The Horizon...

John Hageman Me
After doing the successful (in my opinion anyway) of Tastefully Done, the nude webcomic calendar which I hope to start the ball rolling again on that later on this year with some new talented people, I've been thinking of something else, a book that will get more than 13 artists together and be something good.

After doing Cancer Research UK, I wanted something special and something that's US and I feel dear about. The Make-A-Wish Foundation is one such cause, so all proceeds for this book would go there.

The book, you ask, is basically a kid's book, but with the art of different webcomic artists within it. This is more a project AND an experiment. I want each webcomic artist to do one page in the book, without no script nor anything else, they can take the story in whatever direction. The challenge : they can only see the page previous to their own, nothing more. So basically they have no idea what's happened before, only what happened on the previous page.

It could totally suck, have beautiful art but in no way a real plausable story OR it could work so well that it's brilliant. Now I'm just looking to see if any webcomic artists are interested...

The image will be 8" x 6", 300dpi and CMYK (whatever that means). ATM I'm not looking for artwork, just people who are interested. Give me a comment or two...

(forgot my password, so i'm doing this the anonymous way)

Great idea, I'd love to participate in this. The quality of the 'story' depends on the webcomicartists of course, so I hope you'll find a good group.
